Dear Readers:
God has a divine order for how He instructs us to live. Follow His Ways.
Let's continue with verses 5 & 6 of 1 Peter 3.
( 1 Peter 3: 5 & 6 KJ ) 5. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also,
who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
6. Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as
ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
( 1 Peter 3: 5 & 6 AMP ) 5. For it was thus that the pious women of old who hoped
in God were ( accustomed ) to beautify themselves and were submissive to their husbands
( adapting themselves to them as themselves secondary and dependent upon them ).
6. It was thus that Sarah obeyed Abraham ( following his guidance and acknowledging
his headship over her by ) calling him lord ( master, leader, authority ). And you are now
her true daughters if you do right and let nothing terrify you ( not giving way to
hysterical fears or letting anxieties unnerve you ).
1 Peter 3: 5 & 6 NLT ) 5. That is the way the holy women of old made themselves
beautiful. They trusted God and accepted the authority of their husbands.
6. For instance, Sarsh obeyed her husband, Abraham, when she called him her master.
You are her daughtets when you do what is right without fear of what your husbands
might do.
In studying these verses this is what the Lord showed me. Please listen from your heart.
If you pay attention to only what your mind says without acknowledging what your heart
is saying you will miss this. So please listen.
Married Women as children of God, and with the Power to Influence, we were created to
Help our husbands. Now ! Please keep listening as you read.
God's order is, God first, Always, man and then woman. The uniquness of this is God said
that a husband is to be the head of his wife synonymously as Christ is head of the church.
What did Christ do for the church ? He is the saviour of His body. The Word says husbands
love your wives this way. And wives the Word says be submissive and adapt yourselves
to your husbands as unto the Lord. This is how you show your inner beauty.
The Word of God tells us this is pleasing to Him. So then wives must learn to be pleasing
to their own husbands, in the fear of the Lord.
Now Married Women listen: This does not mean your husband is to Dominate you, or,
control you, '' BUT '' lead and guide you, with the Love of God.
Your husband will be won over by your attitude to love and please him.
And Guess What ? Your attiaude and behavior in this manner as Sarah did,
will cause you to have a Good Husband, and a Respectful Marriage.
